Not a great deal to report today; we spent much of it packing, travelling, unpacking and exploring (a little).
The country between Wanaka and Te Anau is far gentler than most of what we’ve seen so far; beautiful farmland edged by gentle moor and hills.
Te Anau is on the fringes of the Fiordland – it seems to purely serve the tourists who come through this area to walk the great tracks (such as Milford Sound) and the odd coach tour.
The included pictures are from coffee breaks on the way south.
