All the Internet

My blogging has not been very regular this past few weeks. Sure we have been very busy settling into Wellington, setting up a home, unpacking boxes, working, exploring, dealing with earthquakes and many, many aftershocks … but mainly blogging has not been very regular because we’ve not had Internet.

But now we have all the Internet!

There were more chores this weekend; it’s only been a month … and there is a lot to do. I assembled the worst piece of flat-pack furniture I have ever had the misfortune to assemble (bad instructions / missing pieces). If I die never seeing white, chipboard, flat pack furniture again … I can die happy. It was also a wardrobe … which is the worst flat-pack to assemble (because it’s so freaking huge).

I also assembled a far, far better designed wardrobe this morning. Which was fine.

Then there was the compulsory Sunday hike. Today was West Wind Recreational Park … a huge wind farm on the cliffs about 30 minutes from the house. There are tracks a plenty, wild cliffs, pine forests, hills … it’s all pretty stunning.
