Day twenty one – Cambridge addendum

It was a long day, though mostly uneventful. We woke early, finished packing, and jumped in an Uber. Then a train. Queues at BER (many of them). A plane. Eventually a bus. Finally a car. And at last, Cambridge.

We’re only here for the night, but a quiet evening stroll through the streets was a gentle way to ease back into the UK. There’s a hum in the air… the sense of a new academic year just beginning. Maybe I imagined it, maybe not.

Tomorrow, a little more exploring before we carry on to Norwich. Now, JafaCakes and the final of The Great British Sewing Bee.
