We woke to mostly blue skies after the rain and, after a suitably slow start, cycled to Maire Nui Gardens.
Seven acres of native bush, flowers and wildlife, plus, importantly, a very nice café with excellent coffee. Nature is always improved by coffee.
From there we cycled to the museum. Small, but very informative, and well worth the stop.
Then a short spin back to our accommodation, coffee on the beach, and a wade around the coast followed by a swim.
It was sunny and beautifully warm, although a persistent breeze eventually picked up enough to send us to our sheltered deck.
So, a bit of quiet time there before we head out later to forage for food.
It’s certainly a demanding schedule.
